Bigger than Scale?

Multiple sites, large catalogues, integrations or dedicated support. We'll size a plan to fit.

How ownership works

No contracts to trap you. Your renovation (normally R3,999) is free, and once you've been with us 12 months, it's yours to keep.

Approve your plan and monthly debit order. We build and launch your new site.

Months 1–12

We host, maintain and update your site. Leave anytime with 30 days' notice, no cancellation fee.

After 12 months

The site is yours. Stay with us, or ask and we'll hand over all the files for free.

Leaving before 12 months? No fee. The site design stays with us, unless you buy it out for R3,999. Your domain and your own content (logo, photos, text) are always yours.

Only extra: a .com or premium domain. Want to own the site from day one? One-off buyout, R3,999.

What's a credit?

Credits are your monthly changes.

Need a price updated or a new photo? Send it through and we'll make the change. Small jobs cost one credit. Bigger jobs are estimated before we start, so there are never surprises.

/ FAQ
Questions

Straight answers.

Is the renovation really R0 upfront?

Yes. When you join any monthly plan, the renovation is included. You only pay your monthly plan, starting from R399.

What's included in the monthly price?

Hosting, an SSL certificate, a .co.za domain, backups, security and uptime monitoring, maintenance, support and your monthly change credits. The only extra is a .com or premium domain.

Do I own my domain?

Yes. Your domain is registered in your name. If you ever move on, it goes with you.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. You can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice and there's no cancellation fee.

Who owns the website?

After 12 months on any plan, the site is yours: we'll hand over all the files for free if you ever leave. If you leave before 12 months, the site design stays with us unless you buy it out for R3,999. Your domain name and your own content (logo, photos, text) are always yours.

What if I miss a payment?

We'll remind you first. After 7 days the site is paused, and after 30 days it's taken offline. We keep a backup for another 30 days so you can come back without starting over.

I don't use my website much. Is it still worth it?

Customers check your website before they call, even if most of your work comes through word of mouth. A modern site that loads fast on phones makes you look as trusted as you are, and we handle everything.

Can I just buy the website instead?

Yes. If you'd rather own it outright without a plan, a one-off buyout starts at R3,999. Hosting and future changes aren't included in that option.

The fine print

Terms of service.

Plain-English terms for every WebCrave plan. No traps.

Last updated: November 2026

1. Your plan

You pay a monthly fee for the plan you choose (Essential, Growth, Premium or Scale) by debit order or card. Your plan covers hosting, SSL, a .co.za domain, backups, security monitoring, maintenance, support and a set number of change credits each month. Unused credits don't roll over.

2. Your renovation

The renovation of your existing website is included at R0 upfront when you join any plan. We build a preview first; we only launch once you've approved it and set up your monthly payment.

3. Cancelling

You can cancel anytime with 30 days' written notice (email is fine). There is no cancellation fee. You pay for the notice month, and nothing after that.

4. Who owns what

  • Always yours: your domain name and your own content: logo, photos, text and any material you gave us.
  • After 12 months on a plan: the website (design and code) is yours. If you ever leave, we hand over all the site files free of charge.
  • Before 12 months: the website design and code we built remain WebCrave's property. If you leave, you can buy them out for a once-off R3,999 and we'll hand everything over. Otherwise we take the site down at the end of your notice period.
  • Either way, we'll help move your domain to wherever you want it.

5. Missed payments

If a payment fails, we'll let you know and try again. If it's still unpaid after 7 days, your site is paused. After 30 days it's taken offline and your plan ends. We keep a backup for a further 30 days in case you'd like to return.

6. Changes and credits

Send change requests by email or WhatsApp. Small changes cost 1 credit (text, prices, an image). Bigger jobs are estimated in credits before we start. Turnaround times depend on your plan.

7. Hosting and support

We host your site on fast, secure infrastructure with daily backups and uptime monitoring. We'll fix anything that breaks on our side at no cost to you.

8. Domains

A .co.za domain is included while you're on a plan. A .com or premium domain is billed yearly at cost.

9. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.

These terms are a working draft and will be reviewed by an attorney before launch. Questions? .
